  1. If i was an African American at this time and heard What J.F.Kennedy was saying i would have felt exstatic. knowing that everything everyone was doing to get civil rights had finnaly pulled of. The best part would of been the feeling of success. We could now do better in life and do better for our families.

  2. While watching this speech I had great feelings that things definitely needed to change. He talked about how he wanted everything to be integrated and equal. He was very serious the whole and I actually wanted to stay alert the whole time. He proved that things needed to change, and sooner or later they indeed did. If I saw the speech live in 1963 I would have felt committed to have things change. I am all for integration and without it what would the world be like today. I would have felt honored and committed if I saw the speech live. It was an excellent speech, and he spoke about the issues well.
